The good news in this story is that Theo survives! Joe is then able to poison Love, killing her in the process. However, it’s revealed that Joe already knew Love would try to poison him, and so he ingested adrenaline as an antidote earlier. After poisoning Joe with the plant aconite, he’s paralyzed. Unfortunately, Love does die in the finale of You season 3. So what happens in the end for Love and Theo? Well, it’s very tragic. YOU (L to R) DYLAN ARNOLD as THEO ENGLER in episode 304 of YOU Cr. Joe and Love are both very twisted, but Joe is always two steps ahead of Love. But what Love doesn’t know is that Joe already suspects this, and because he’s in love with Marienne, he doesn’t care! He’s happy Love has a distraction while he’s basically starting a new life with someone else.
Of course, we know that Love actually does want to hook up with Theo, and they do. Love then hatches up a fake plan to get closer to Theo, even leading him on, so he will help her find out what Matthew has on her and Joe. Once Matthew gets access to all of the security cameras in town, Joe and Love believe they could be caught for the murder of Natalie. She says that Theo kissed her, and then she conducts a plan so she can get closer to Theo but make Joe believe it’s for another reason. In any case, Love eventually does tell Joe about Theo - kind of. She’s likely in her late 20s or in her 30s, but this is just speculation. We don’t know for certain how old Love is, but she’s been married twice and has a successful career which she went to college for. Sure, that’s legal, but that’s also presumably much younger than Love. They’re still new in town and she wants to keep appearances up to fit in with the social circles. But, for many reasons, Love decides not to pursue a relationship with Theo.įor starters, Love is married to Joe and she very much wants to make their relationship work. The two start a flirtationship that soon turns physical, and it seems like the two really do have feelings for one another.
Matthew’s son Theo (Dylan Arnold) is a teenager in college who immediately takes a liking to Love. Do Love and Theo get together in You season 3? Natalie’s husband Matthew is distraught and his son, Natalie’s stepson, comes home and stays with him. To the rest of the town, Natalie is mysteriously missing and a search begins to find her.

But not only does Joe take interest in Natalie and then fall for his boss Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), but Love also strikes up a romance with someone else.Īt the end of the You season 3 premiere, Love kills Natalie after finding Joe’s souvenir box full of Natalie’s things.
And we know that it usually doesn’t end well for the unfortunate lady he seduces. We’ve seen Joe fall for women he sees from afar and then obsess over them and stalk them multiple times by now on this show. You season 3 also introduces us to new characters who pose major threats to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and Love Quinn ( Victoria Pedretti).Īs teased in the final moments of the You season 2 finale, despite uprooting their lives and moving to a new town for a fresh start, it doesn’t take long for Joe to set his sights on someone new - their neighbor.Īnd as we soon find out, Natalie (Michaela McManus) the neighbor is not the only person to watch out for this season.
